Its the one night of the year when everyone whos anyone comes to the Metropolitan Museum of Art for a giant party and also everyone wears extreme outfits that fit a certain theme. Well, it’s been six months of anticipation since we learned this year’s Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala theme, and we’re happy to say that the moment we’ve all been waiting forthe red carpet, of courseis finally here. It will be held at a literal "trinity of locations": the Anna Wintour Costume Center, the medieval galleries at the Met’s Fifth Avenue location, and at the upper Manhattan museum, The Cloisters. Some people have the Super Bowl, other people have the Country Music Awards, but there is one night that I look forward to (besides Eurovision) and that is the Met Gala. New Yorks Metropolitan Museum of Art opened 'Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination,' featuring sacred artifacts on loan from the Vatican, with the Met Gala Monday.
